Georgetown Historic Inn was built in 1840 and offers much history for you to expererience during your stay. The Inn provides 8 spacious guest rooms; all feature 4 piece ensuite bathrooms, a sitting room with cable TV, VCR, and a selection of movies. The Inn has a large dining room that seats our 22 guests and an off dining room area kitchenette for your personal use.

You will find comfortable beds; a relaxing atmosphere and warm island hospitality to make your island vacation memorable. After a restful sleep wake up to the fresh ocean air and the smell of coffee brewing then come down to be served a five course hot breakfast.

Georgetown, a small fishing village is the capital of
Kings County and has an abundance of history and architectural heritage for you to explore. Georgetown has a number of buildings of significant historical value, the courthouse, churches, and playhouse theatre to name a few are all within walking distance of the Inn. We are located one block from Georgetown Harbour, a deep-water harbour; its principal use is for lobster fishing and recreational boating. It is one of the finest sheltered harbours on the East Coast of Canada and an excellent harbour for water sports.

The Eastern side of PEI is the area of choice for those that prefer the peace and quiet of an unhurried lifestyle, the beautiful scenery of red dirt roads as they meander along the coastline from the Wood Island ferry and the spectacular white sand beaches all along the coast of eastern PEI. The Confederation Trail winds from Montague to Georgetown Harbour and then on to Cardigan and the Fish Hatchery making the Georgetown Inn an ideal base for cyclists.

The areas' predominantly Scottish heritage offers an abundance of local Ceilidhs traditional music and dance. You can enjoy both local and professional talent at The Georgetown King's Playhouse, it is said to be one of the oldest theatres in Canada and operates from early July to the end of August.
