The Canadian Antiques Road Show is coming to P.E.I.
Tourism Minister Philip Brown announced at the P.E.I. legislature Friday morning that the show will broadcast from the historic Charlottetown waterfront beginning June 6.
A television crew of about 70-90 people will be in the provincial capital to produce four 30-minute episodes of the show. The shows will air on CBC over the fall and winter of 2007/2008.
Valerie Pringle will host all four shows. Read More…

CHARLOTTETOWN, April 12 /CNW/ - The provincial budget delivered welcome
news to Prince Edward Island’s restaurant and bar owners, including an end to
the 10% levy on wines and spirits they purchase for resale to their customers.
The levy is similar to one in New Brunswick that was recently declared illegal
by the Supreme Court of Canada.
