P.E.I. hopes to lure Calgary petrodollars with talk of oysters and beaches

CALGARY (CP) - Armed with fiddlers, lobster rolls and a mountain of fresh oysters, tiny Prince Edward Island is the latest province trying to attract some of Alberta’s petrodollars with a half-million-dollar tourism sales pitch.
About 20 Islanders have set up camp this week in the busy oilpatch headquarters of Calgary with the goal of boosting their province’s somewhat stagnant tourism levels. Read more…
