With almost a month to go in the travel year, Charlottetown airport broke its annual traffic record Monday when passenger number 212,492 picked up his boarding pass at the Air Canada ticket counter.
Campbell said the growth of traffic at Charlottetown Airport has made it the fastest growing airport in Atlantic Canada and the fourth fastest nationally after Fort McMurray and Grande Prairie, Alta., and Abbotsford, B.C.
