Let’s make the most of Lucy Maud’s love for the Island

I am responding to ‘Tourism marketers must show what makes P.E.I. stand out: speaker’ (The Guardian, Nov. 20, 2006 and the editorial of Monday, Nov. 27, 2006. (A ‘gentle’ push for smart marketing.)
My vision for tourism is Islandwide. I was fortunate to work with the Prince Edward Hotel and Convention Centre promoting the property and the greater Charlottetown area; with the Meetings P.E.I. board, helping to facilitate the recent Charlottetown mergers; with Festival and Events P.E.I. board, promoting festivals Islandwide; and with the Hotel Motel Association of P.E.I., and the development of their first regional newspaper package insert.
