The Georgetown Historic Inn, a Provincial Heritage Building, was built in 1840 as a residence for the Honourable Joseph Wightman, a shipbuilder and politician. Over the years it has been a Masonic Lodge, post office, general store, bank, tea room, hardware store and in 1995 it became an Inn. In 2008, the Inn was bought by Dawn Sadoway and Award winning Chef Joel Short, who are your present hosts.
